I’m upgrading the forums to the latest version of phpBB3.
If there are any major problems along the way, I may ask our web host to restore the latest 24 hour back up of our website. This means that anything posted on Forumosa after the last backup will be lost.

I’m trying to install the advanced statistics module again after yesterday’s fiasco. I found some bugs in the revisions I made the first time around, so I’m hopeful I’ll be successful this time around

As part of our preparations to reboot the forums, we are clearing the Key Word database of the forum search function. This will severely hamper the search function. So if you do try to search the forums, the results may not be very meaningful.

We’re restarting fresh – but keeping the same database of discussions – and plan a simpler forum by the beginning of August.

Over the past 2 weeks, we have been plagued with an unstable database, probably related to the recent modifications made to the forums. These modifications had changed the profile system and a feature called “Similar Topics”
